The Udu drum is a traditional clay instrument, kiln-fired during production to achieve its natural resonance and durability.

It produces a distinctive, earthy tone, created by striking the body with the fingers and controlling the airflow through the side hole with the palm.

Each Sonika Percussion Udu is fully handmade in Turkey by skilled craftsmen, ensuring unique character, balanced sound, and a truly organic playing experience.
